1. Perform preventive and corrective actions at certain extend on the physical network element that deployed on the field under his or her responsibility. Ability to do this task will ensure that our network will give the best services that lead to the customer satisfaction.
2. KEY RESULTS AREAS/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform preventive action on the XL Network Element: Radio Base Station, Core network, Transmission Subsystem (Optical and terrestrial), LAN / WAN, and M/E system and perform initial corrective actions of M / E Equipment, RBS, and terrestrial transmission system
- Assist Field Engineers on advance corrective actions of Fiber optic restoration, SDH Transmission failures, Core network Problem and EWO / NBWO supervision or execution (ATP & Integration Test)
3. DIMENSIONS (State the job’s direct and indirect impact)
This job holder is accountable for preventive and corrective maintenance of the XL Network element which already in service on the field :
Basically he or she will have direct responsibility to the operation and maintenance of physical equipment as follow :
1. Mechanical / electrical Equipment:
•Power Distribution Box (PDB) : Relay, Timer, MCB, Cabling
•AC Filter Interface (ACF)
•Lighting : indoor, outdoor, and tower
•Air conditioning System
•Automatic Main Failure (AMF)
•Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
•Generator
•Tower
•Lightning Protection & Grounding System
2. Radio Base Station (RBS):
•RBS 2202, RBS 2203, 2206, 2106 etc
•Antenna: Kathrein, RFS
•Cabling: Feeder, Feeder Jumper, power and traffic cables
•Batteries

3. Core Network:
•BSC
•MGW
•MSC
•RNC
•HLR

4. Microwave Transmission Equipment:
•Mini / Micro link System : C, E
•SDH
•Antennas
•Cabling: Feeder, traffic cable (DDF rack)

5. Optical Transmission Equipment:
•OSP ( Cables, SC, RS, Pipe bridge, aerial bridge)
•Support Field Engineer during OSP Restoration

6. NBWO / EWO:
•DDF Type of work under Engineer supervision
•Optical Fiber splicing under Engineer supervision
•Equipment installation under Engineer supervision
•Assist Engineer in performing the Civil works acceptance test
•Assist Engineer in performing the M/E acceptance test

7. Environment:
•Awareness of cleanliness & tidiness
•Keep sites have professional loo
