JOB SUMMARY: To perform and/or coordinate all test activities related to WiMAX coverage and WiMAX related devices.
Supporting the required exercise in managing the quality of end user experience.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Report to Team Leader. 2. Assisting Team Leader in: • Executing technical evaluation of new WiMAX related device to meet overall products/device strategy for the company.
• Developing, managing, and providing functional & technical requirements knowledge before commencing of project and during project implementation
• Working closely with other internal departments (Technology Division & Marketing) before commencing of project to identify the technical requirements to meet the company’s short & long term business and technical goals
• Planning & managing end-to-end (e2e) project implementation
• Managing project meeting and kick start projects
• Writing and compiling functional & technical requirements prior to commencing of project SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Working together with Project Team during implementation activities such as:
o Design, Implementation, UAT/ATP testing, Stability Period
o Handover process (documentation, compiling, etc.) between related internal department
o Product launching process (testing, training of customer services, sales departments, etc.) 2. Manage ad-hoc projects and assist immediate supervisors in their daily functions as and when required
REQUIREMENTS: • Degree in telecommunications, engineering, business with at least 1 year of experience
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate it into a technical specification is an advantage
• Possess relevant background in both telecommunication and IT industry.
• Knowledge of the WiMAX technology is an advantage.
• Must be independent and proactive.
• Good analytical skills
